Foundation by Paul Burkey has a features list that makes Command and Conquer seem like a toy soldier fight. Mixing the best from Warcraft, C&C and its sequel Red Alert, and the Settlers duo, Foundation pits you into battle with other armies, both on your own computer, via null modem serial links, and, in a bold brave move, even over the Internet. Sadeness and Paul have been working on the TCP/IP section of the game and with a permanent Foundation server set up, plan to allow virtually limitless numbers of players to play with people across the street, at the other end of the town, or in a totally different country. It's a bold move which, if acheived and implemented successfully, will herald a new generation in Amiga games. ![]() Sadeness Software - Paul Burkey's Homepage |
